Jim Gordon is the former Group Vice President of Corporate Brand and Reputation for Time Warner Cable. In that role he led and developed teams that directed Corporate Social Responsibility, Community Investment, Employee Engagement and Thought Leadership. He was responsible for the company’s portfolio of community partnerships and investments, including Connect a Million Minds – a five-year, $100 million philanthropic initiative that was created to inspire youth to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).
Developing and leading innovative, results-generating communications campaigns and the teams that implement them are Jim’s expertise and passion. Jim and his team harness the resources of the company to have positive social impact on communities served while aligning with the core business.
Before joining Time Warner Cable, Mr. Gordon held executive positions with Discovery Communications and Comcast Corporation.
Mr. Gordon has received numerous accolades and is a member of the Association of Cable Communicators (ACC), the US Chamber of Commerce Foundation and serves on the board of Navigators USA. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Communications from Towson University, and his Master of Modern Studies from Loyola College. He has also graduated from CTAM University at Harvard Business School and is a current member of the Arthur Page Future Leaders Program.
